Tamil Nadu Newsprint And Papers announced Q1FY24 results:

  • Total revenue of Rs 1,273.44 crore for Q1FY24 as against Rs 1,136.06 crore in Q1FY23. The total revenue has increased by 12.09% as compared to Q1FY23.
  • The company earned Profit before Interest, Depreciation, and Tax (EBITDA) of Rs 7,324.84 crore for Q1FY24 as against Rs 3,176.39 crore in Q1FY23. The EBITDA has increased by 84.16% as compared to Q1FY23.
  • After providing Rs 69.66 crore towards depreciation & amortization and Rs 55.94 crore for finance cost, the company earned a profit before tax of Rs 200.24 crore for Q1FY24 as against Rs 92.97 crore in Q1FY23.
  • Profit after tax for Q1FY24 is 3128.66 crore as against 60.40 crore in Q1FY23.
  • Paper production for Q1FY24 is 1,05,499 MT against 1,06,584 MT in Q1FY23. Packaging Board production is 47,704 MT against 45,012 MT in Q1FY23.
